Labor Day 2022 Special Events

Gull Island Beach Party: Saturday, September 3rd 12-5pm

Paddle over the Gull Island and party on the beach.

This paddle is for experienced paddlers only!

Join us at Gull Island to celebrate Labor Day Weekend! Paddlers MUST have experience as there will be no lesson or on the water instruction available.

We will drop the boards in the water at Long Island Vibes’ East Moriches location (address will be in confirmation e-mail) and paddle over to Gull Island for a beach party! Pack your own cooler of lunch and refreshments.

Rock The Boat on Moriches Bay: Monday, September 5th 12-5pm

Anchor Down, Raft Up, Live Music on Moriches Bay! This paddle is for experienced paddlers only!

Join us on the water to celebrate Labor Day! Long Island Vibes will be joining Rock the Boat by making paddleboards available for rent. Paddlers MUST have experience as there will be no lesson or on the water instruction available.

We will drop the boards in the water and paddle over to Holiday Beach (Center Moriches, NY) and anchor down.

Mean Machine Band will be playing live and we will be able to enjoy food and drinks (pack your own cooler) on the water.

Once registered you'll receive a confirmation e-mail with any remaining necessary information. In this e-mail you'll find where to park your car and meet the group.

Classes Available

Sunset Paddle:

There is no better way to end a summer day! Join us on the water to unwind and bask in Long Islands’s beautiful sunsets. We generally paddle around for a little while and then anchor our boards to watch the sun set. Feel free to bring our own refreshments. No Paddleboarding experience necessary and kids are welcome to join.

$45 per person with all necessary equipment included
60 minute paddle with a 15 minute buffer
on land paddle instruction, instructor stays on the water with the class
$25 per person to join the group but bring your own equipment (MUST have leash, anchor & PFD)

Social Paddle:

This class is usually offered from 9:30-10:45am on weekdays and 10:00-11:15am on weekends. No Paddleboarding experience necessary and kids are welcome to join. Children can sit on an adult’s board (one per board) or youth kayaks are available to rent that can towed behind the parent or guardian’s board. Please note that if you have paddled with us before you are free to paddle on your own during any of the scheduled SUP Yoga classes.

SUP Yoga:

Stand-Up Paddleboard yoga is a wonderful extension of traditional studio yoga. A lot of the poses are modified to maintain balance on the boards. Yolo Yoga boards are used and are the best quality and very stable. If you are interested in SUP Yoga but have never paddled before you can always register for a social or sunset paddle and try a few poses on the boards.

Fourth of July Weekend 2022:

Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday will all have the same (weather permitting) schedule. Fireworks can be viewed from your paddleboard during any of the Sunset paddles. Reserve your spot now, but please keep in mind whichever night has the most favorable conditions will likely be when fireworks are most visible. Reserve your board. Please note that in the scheduling system these classes are listed as “holiday paddle”

Private SUP Party:

Long Island Vibes can bring the boards to the water anytime you wish! Submit a Private SUP Party request form and start inviting your friends today! Private SUP Parties are a great way to celebrate birthdays, graduations, holidays, LIFE! Long Island Vibes’ main location is in East Moriches, NY but if you have water access we can bring the boards to you (submit form for pricing)! Ask about add ons such as drone photography and a jetski to be available to assist younger or new paddlers.

60 minute paddle with a 15 minute buffer

4-6 Paddlers $55 per person (East Moriches)
7-13 Paddlers $45 per person (East Moriches)
Need at least 10 ppl for sunset time slot, otherwise for an additional fee I can get you on the water 30 minutes before the open group class.
Jet Ski assistance $35 (required for SUP parties with more than 3 minors and/or beginners)
$25 per person to join the group but bring your own equipment (MUST have leash, anchor & PFD)
